Starter: running on your CRM number

How the Starter plan connects to your CRM, which number and calendar it uses, and what stays on the CRM side.

How Starter is different

On Starter you text leads from one of your existing CRM SMS numbers, and your agent takes over once they reply. There is no SetMore line to buy and no number step in setup. Instead you connect your CRM account and choose which number and which calendar your agent should use.

Connecting

Open Settings, CRM, and press Connect. You are sent to your CRM to approve access, then back here to pick a location. Choose the SMS number the setter should reply on and the calendar it should book into. Save, then text that number from your phone to confirm the setter answers.

  • Your CRM subscription and carrier charges are separate from SetMore AI.
  • Call routing for that number stays in your CRM phone settings.
  • You can import existing CRM conversations so the setter has context on people who already texted you.

What the setter does on a CRM number

Everything it does on a dedicated line: replies in seconds, qualifies, books into the calendar you chose, and follows up. Opt-outs are honoured on both sides: a lead who replies STOP is blocked here and must also pass your CRM's do-not-disturb checks before anyone messages them again.

Questions people ask

Can I move from Starter to a dedicated number later?
Yes. Upgrade to Business from the billing screen and the number step appears in Settings.
Does the setter send iMessage on Starter?
No. Your CRM's numbers are SMS. Blue-bubble iMessage delivery comes with a dedicated SetMore line.
