Weddings and events
They messaged six vendors. You have about an hour.
Couples inquire in batches and book with whoever answered first and knew their date was open. SetMore AI answers immediately, checks the date, and books the call.
What's actually costing you appointments.
Couples contact half a dozen vendors in one sitting, and the ones who reply within the hour get the consultation while the rest get nothing.
The first two questions are always the date and the price, and neither can go unanswered without losing the inquiry.
Vendors are working events on the exact days when inquiries peak, which is evenings and weekends.
A date that is already booked needs a fast, gracious answer, and a date that is open needs the call booked immediately before another vendor claims it.
Package pricing is complicated enough that vendors often avoid quoting at all, which reads as evasive to a couple comparing options.
Inquiries arrive across a website form, Instagram, and a listing directory, and each one is a separate inbox that goes unwatched during an event.
From first message to booked call.
- 1
Answer during someone else's wedding
Form fills and texts all route to one line and are answered in seconds, including on a Saturday night when you are working.
- 2
Check the date first
The event date is the first question, and it is checked against your calendar live. An open date moves straight to booking a call. A booked date gets an honest answer immediately rather than a week later.
- 3
Quote packages the way you wrote them
It uses your package pricing and nothing else. Where the number genuinely depends on the event, it says what it depends on and books the consultation.
- 4
Get the event basics before the call
Date, venue or area, guest count, and what they are looking for. You open the consultation already knowing whether it is a fit.
- 5
Hold long engagements
Couples planning eighteen months out get a paced follow-up instead of going quiet, so you are still in the conversation when they start signing contracts.
Weddings and events
hi! are you available june 13 2027 and what are your packages
Congratulations! This is Wren & Willow Photography. Good news, June 13 2027 is open on our calendar. Our wedding collections start at $4,200 and go up based on hours of coverage and whether you want a second shooter.
oh great. it's at the Ashbury Barn, about 140 people
We've shot at Ashbury Barn before, it's a beautiful space in the late afternoon. For 140 guests most couples land in the eight hour collection.
that sounds about right
Let's get you on a call to walk through the collections properly. I have Tuesday at 6pm or Sunday at 1pm. Which works for you both?
Common questions before you start.
Weddings are personal, couples want to hear from me.
They will, on the call. What they will not wait for is a reply three days later. This holds the conversation until you are out of the event you are currently shooting.
I can't quote packages without knowing the event.
Then it gives your starting price and says what moves it, which is what you would say on the phone. A starting number keeps the conversation alive; silence ends it.
My calendar is complicated, I can't have it booking dates.
It does not book the event. It checks whether the date is free and books a consultation call, so you make every booking decision yourself.
Most inquiries are out of my price range anyway.
Giving the starting price in the first reply is how you find that out in one message instead of three emails and a wasted call.
Questions about this use case.
Does it check whether our date is available?
Yes, against your connected calendar, and it answers in the first reply. That is the question couples care about most.
Will it quote package prices?
It quotes the packages you set, typically a starting price plus what moves it. It does not invent figures.
Does it book the event itself?
No. It books a consultation call. Contracts and event dates stay entirely in your hands.
Can it handle inquiries from Instagram?
Not inside Instagram yet. Put your SetMore number in your Instagram bio, and every couple who texts it gets the same fast reply as a website form.
